Post Workout Meal Ideas
I get asked this ALL time. “What should I eat after my workout?” – so here are a few ideas for if have time to prepare or if you you’re in a rush – the 4 on the left take a bit longer and the 4 on the right are super quick.
The trend is to get in your protein and carbs. This is a great time to replenish your energy levels as your body can absorb food very well after a workout
The amount you eat will depend on what your goal is. Keep in mind that you may feel hungrier than you actually are so make sure that you keep that mind if you’re trying to lose weight
I’d also like to mention that there is no RUSH to get your food in after your workout. Your gain will not be lost if you wait over 30 minutes. You’ll probably be hungry though and eat within an hour or 2 anyway .
